God's Creative Ministry

This is for the creators out there who feel trapped in church.  Sometimes you feel this way because your gits are being prostituted and you are in a place where you are not able to create and expand.  This is when you know that it is time to push beyond where you are even if that means leaving a familiar place to tread on unfamiliar ground.  We are going to talk today about God's Creative ministry and how we can operate in what God has already ordained us to do.
God’s Creative Ministry is tailored towards those who have creative gifts that are sometimes ignored or less emphasis is placed on them.  I think that most of these gifts are equally important.  What are some of these gifts?  The bible in Exodus talks about some of them.  If these gifts and talents were brought more to the light, then more people would be more likely to walk in their calling.
The body needs all of these talents, not just preaching, singing, and prophesying.  We need the gifts of administration, organization, hospitality, artistry, and the list goes on and on.  If people knew that they could use these gifts in the body of Christ, more people would, instead of using them for the world.
I want to talk about why some people won’t come to church and why some preachers won’t preach the truth.  Some people, after coming out of bondage, are afraid of being put back into bondage by the church.  Instead of teaching about the Holy Spirit, we often times try to play His part.  It is not our job to condemn people or to scare people straight.
However it is our duty to teach about the Holy Spirit according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I remember there would be times in church when the teachers and preachers would constantly preach condemnation.  They would scream and shout “Holiness or Hell”.  Yet many fail to interpret the meaning of Holiness.  It was thrown around like a cliche instead of a way of life.
I would often ask myself what is true holiness?  Being that the same people that were shouting it were liars, hatemongers, and gossips, not to mention very seldom demonstrating fruits of the spirit.  You know love, kindness, humility, etc.  It was taught but not often manifested.  That brought me to the conclusion that people who live decent lives and have given their lives to the Lord, decide to stay home instead.  It seems like when they come into the church, they are made to feel bad or not in right standing with God.
In reality, you don’t know where that person is with God.  You don’t even know what kind of assignment that person has.  Everyone’s call is not in the physical building.  Some people, if not most, are called to the market place.
Lord, I thank you for allowing me to grow up in you. I thank you for my days living as a babe. I thank you that you brought me to maturity and a greater depth of spirituality. I thank you that you increase my knowledge in my wisdom so that I may serve you with my lips and with the actions of my labor. I thank you for the mate that you bring to me and that he is welcoming you with the wisdom and knowledge that you have given him as well.  Then he would spend the rest of his days maturing. As mates, we both would be able to speak to other couples and to the nations, that this is a world that is filled with immortality and uncleanness concerning sexuality, marriage and relationships. I thank you that you have taught us to teach marital principles as you give us the guidance and a leading that we desire.  With this I thank you and I give the praise, the glory, and the honor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
